The University Institute of Animal Health and Food Safety of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was created by the Government of the Canary Islands, through Decree 88/2002, dated July 16, 2002. The Institute of Natural Products and Agrobiology (IPNA) is part of the network of research centers of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), State Agency of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (MCIU). The Canary Islands Institute of Agricultural Research (ICIA) is an Autonomous Organization of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands Governmnt, attached to the Conceil of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Water, and created by Law 4/1995, of March 27, whose purposes are the programming, execution and monitoring of research activities and the development and transfer of agricultural technologies in the region, as well as, those that are attributed to the competent organs of the Government of the Canary Islands in terms of agricultural research and technological development.

The purpose of the Institute is the exercise of the competences of the Public Administration of the the Canary Islands Government in the field of food quality. In addition, the Institute will act as a service provider in relation to the control and certification of the quality of agrifood products.

Farm of 110,000 m² with cultivated lands partly dedicated to the sowing of fodder for the cattle and the plantation of traditional varieties of fruit trees. As a main activity, the center is dedicated to the multiplication of specimens of the livestock breeds present in La Palma that are in danger of extinction

The Experimental Agricultural Farm (1970s, San Cristóbal) is a technological center dedicated to experimentation in the agricultural sector, whose competences have been transferred to the Cabildo by the Canary Islands Government.

The Experimental Agricultural Farm was founded around 1965, in order to serve as support for the development of the insular field. Currently, the Insular Agrarian Service, popularly known as "La Granja" is home to a multitude of services aimed at facilitating to the producers work in the insular field.

Public company dedicated to the production of plants through in vitro multiplication techniques. Created in 1986 by the Island Council of Tenerife and the Caja Canarias banking entity, with the objective of contributing to the improvement of income in the agricultural sector and providing solutions to the different productive and commercial strategies of Canarian farmers.

AETUR was founded in 1979, since then, it offers management resources to different tourist business associations and services to its associated companies. Aetur is the organ of business representation of the tourism sector of Lanzarote and works in the protection, defense and improvement of the associated companies and of Lanzarote as a tourist destination.

Turisfera is the first Cluster linked to the value chain of the tourism sector in Tenerife. It was established in 2010 with the desire to create a meeting place between tourism entrepreneurs, public institutions and knowledge centers to develop cooperation projects, examine trends and disseminate innovation as an element of competitiveness of companies in the sector. It is a space to cooperate, share visions, analyze trends and fundamentally, a common place to verbalize needs related to tourism innovation and materialize them in sustainable projects.

TOURISM INNOVA GRAN CANARIA was born in 2009 as an association, in order to promote a new organizational model of tourism, based on networks, which allows companies, and the Canary Islands as a tourist destination, to improve their competitiveness through INNOVATION, forming an intensive tourist destination in knowledge, market oriented and international reference.

Since 1992 the Island Association of Rural Tourism Isla Bonita has been participating in the promotion of rural tourism and other new tourism products on the Island of La Palma. As a plural association it brings together about one hundred owners of rural houses and also other small associations and businesses and professionals in tourism and rural development.

ASOLAN is the Insular Association of Hotel and Apartment Entrepreneurs of Lanzarote. 127 accommodation establishments are associated with 37,000 tourist beds, about 75% of the accommodation offer in Lanzarote.

Ashotel is the Hotel Association for Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro. Founded in 1977, it currently has more than 240 associated establishments representing more than 93,000 tourist beds. As a business association, Ashotel defends the interests of its associates, but also works for the future of the tourism sector as the main economic engine of the Canary Islands.

The Federation of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Las Palmas, with more than 30 years of activity, is the professional and independent organization that works for the interests of tourism entrepreneurs in the Province of Las Palmas. It brings together businessmen from tourist accommodation establishments, bars and restaurants, nightclubs and leisure and rural tourism.
