Fishmetrics developed ready-to-use robust solutions for fish sampling in fish auctions or on-board vessels that can take remote and/or automatic fish measurements of the landed or captured fish.

Our solutions are based on a sophisticated, fixed or portable, digital measurement system using computer vision and contactless 3D metrology, and a cloud server which aggregates all sampling databases and automates all the required statistical analysis. This system can greatly increase the amount of data, leading to better assessments.

The sampling is performed remotely, reducing costs and the measuring can be automatized, based on internally developed machine learning algorithms, that can detect, categorize and measure the fish, leading to real time accurate results.
