The Azorean Regional Board of Engineers is the regional representant of the National Board of Engineers (“Ordem dos Engenheiros”), gathering engineers from 12 different main engineering specialties (“Colégios”), namely Agronomy, Environment, Civil, Electrotechnics, Forest, Geography/Survey, Geology/Mining, Informatics, Materials, Mechanics, Naval and Chemistry/Biology. Members of the Azorean Regional Board of Engineers are developing their professional activities in the most diverse regional institutions, including private companies, public administration (local, regional and national), University of the Azores, R&D institutes, cooperatives and producers associations, vocational schools, and NGOs.
